The above features a couple fighters from Hexbane’s Hunters, including a dark mask on Brydget that looks fantastic and will pair well with Silent Pock. Excellent work by MP_miniatures – I especially like the texture work on the leather components.

Sleeksbowl is back at it with another Stormcast decklist for Ironsoul’s Condemnors with Tooth and Claw he’s calling “The Iron Claw“. Sounds like an old Kung Fu movie. Was there an artifact called The Iron Claw in Skyrim? Anyway he took it to a tournament and ended up winning, then wrote up a report. He just can’t get enough of those golden bros!

Nick Bayton’s and his UK group (who also calls themselves Thunderworlds… which means we’re going to have to have a fight) recently ran a great community shakeup event called the Pandaemonium. Effectively, everybody brings a Rivals warband, and each round you draw from a hat to see what you’re playing with. So you as an individual play with three different warbands, and not necessarily the one you brought! There’s also warband scoring (as played by three different players once each). Worth noting that at this particular date, Khagra’s Ravagers won the event,, and Sons of Velmorn took second while going undefeated! Great way to have some variety and fun, as well as introduce some warbands you don’t usually see at events.

ChosenAxes fans/Voidcursed players rejoice! Wathlab, the world’s greatest Fyreslayers player, has come out with a guide to combining the two.

A phenomenal take on Domitan’s Stormcoven by Tryel – the red lighting is incredible and I’m blown away by how well done this effect is against the yellow and blue NMM, makes it look like they’re really deep into the roothalls and light is hard to come by. Wyrd and Gnarly for sure.

Skabbik’s Plaguepack by Pete from Agents of Sigmar – a lovely duo who puts out pretty frequent and interesting youtube content as well. The green smoke is really well done here – not over the top, but offsets the robes quite nicely at the same time. I especially like the befouled scripture papers on the Rikkit’s staff

Who says spooky ghosts have to be green? u/I_Am_Not_Alpharius has made the Headsmen’s Curse flash in a blue, black, and red scheme. The texture on the cloth, the wet blending on the ghosty bits, the sparkles on the sword, the highlights on the roses! All bangers.

Our last entry was not by Alpharius (if they can be believed…), but these dark Zarbag’s Gitz were painted up by Alphariusthefirst (or so they claim…). Pink Squigs for life!

All this talk about Condemned Counters is getting Ironsoul worked up – she’s the original Condemnor on the block. Move over Scriptor of the Sentence! Here’s a drop-dead gorgeous rendition by Agis Nuegebauer – the decals add a ton and the brown tabards are a cool choice that adds serious character to the warband

Hexbane with his torch casing some OSL by u/ColaRonaldo, as well as their rendition of Brydget with some great color choices. Gives me a Warhammer Old World feel like the old Empire

Cool glowing sewers on Spiteclaw’s Swarm by Velvet n’ Paint – Skritch is (and remains) the greatest, yes yes.

A solid local tournament writeup for a Nemesis Voidcursed Kainan’s Reapers from Centre of Attention – great concept for deck and very thorough review of the theory behind its build as well as the execution at the event.

Mr “I’m not Alpharius, I swear guys” is back with Domitan’s Stormcoven, applying a cool silver armor effect and beautiful freehand on the cloaks. Stellar stuff.

You like freehand cloaks? How about some fancy pattern work for Skittershank’s Clawpack? Tryel threw down some classic Japanese fabric patterns for the ninjas and they look ace

I_Am_Not_Alpharius must have spent all of August just cranking out warbands, since they’re back yet again on this list with some snazzy Ephilim Vaporwave

The Gorehulk is looking real clean in this rendition by Nightscale Studio. The armor is well highlighted, the eyes glow something fierce, and the base looks very much like you’d expect to se in Harrowdeep/Nethermaze. He even looks like he’s a little sweaty!

Incredible Grymwatch diorama by Garfy at Tale of Painters. The photo composition is stunning and it’s a trmendous work of paint, photography, modeling and more. Phenomenal.

u/Yohmei slammed out two gorgeous Wyrdhollow warbands recently – here’s Ehpilim’s Pandaemonium (such smooth blending and fantastic contrast between the model textures) and Skabbik’s Plaguepack (whose acid-green robes are a great choice)
