‘Avin a Good Time is a series here on Spent Glory where we drop the serious competitive approach, skip the idea of helping new players, and ignore altogether anything useful to the community and instead just have ourselves a good time. Gurzag and the Boyz approve, and so should you.

Last time, we selected 2 food-prep ‘experts’ from each grand alliance to compete in an Iron-Chef style competition, and you voted on the outcome.
As a recap, the contestants were:
Tokkor the Immolator
Phlegmus Potbelly
Elathain
Dhoraz Giantfell
Zarbag
Drizgit da Squig Herder
The Royal Butcher
Zondara Rivenheart
And the categories of competition were:
Ghyranian Elegance: vegan pies
Alternative Ingredients: Can you improvise? Bake a cake with Gluten-free flour
Veal Sausage: Anything you want, but it must contain veal sausage. Sorry Ylarin.
Honey Walnut Surprise: prepare a dish of your choice with either honey or walnuts but not both. With 30 minutes left, you’ll receive a cup of the one you didn’t choose, and must integrate it into your dish.
Specialty Mixed Drinks: giant spears of appetizers alongside your Bloody Mary are not only accepted, but encouraged.
Mushroom Mandate: Each contestant is handed a basket with 2 pounds of mixed wild mushrooms. They must prepare a dish with mushrooms as the main ingredient while also not poisoning the judges. A blend of cooking skill and foraging knowledge, necessary for any true chef of Ghyran.
Dip Stix: Fondue, and you also have to bake your breads to go with it
Finally, the Finale: Dessert masterclass, with no restrictions. Time to pull out all the stops!
RESULTS
Ghyranian Elegance: Vegan Pies
Third: Drizgit da Squig Herder
Second: Phlegmus Potbelly
First: Zarbag
Wild mushrooms make sense, and I suppose Phlegmus would make quite the creamy filling…
Alternative Ingredients: Gluten-Free Cake
Third: Tokkor the Immolator
Second: Elathain
First: Zondara Rivenheart
You can expect all three know how to cook and would put among the best decorative displays to boot
Veal Sausage
Third: Dhoraz Giant-Fell
Second: Tokkor the Immolator
First: The Royal Butcher
These manly men know their meat. Notably this is the only category The Royal Butcher got any significant points in, but at least he took the crown here.
Honey Walnut Surprise
Third: Elathain
Second: Tokkor the Immolator
First: Phlegmus Potbelly
Whatever Phlegmus is brewing with honey and walnuts will definitely be a ‘surprise’
Specialty Mixed Drinks
Third: Tokkor the Immolator
Second: Elathain
First: Phlegmus Potbelly
These three again? Tokkor obviously is shaping up to be quite the chef, and Elathain and Phlegmus probably have unique takes on various liquids
Mushroom Mandate
Third: Zondara Rivenheart
Second: Zarbag
First: Drizgit da Squig Herder
Can’t beat the shroom goblins at their own game, and Zondara with her herbs/potions knowledge is a reasonable third.
Dip Stix: Fondue
Third: Elathain
Second: Phlegmus Potbelly
First: Tokkor the Immolator
One comment said Tokkor’s breadsticks would be the crispiest, and I have to agree. Plus fondue flambe, just think about it… The other two, not content with just drinks, also like to make various soups/sludges I suppose.
Finally, the Finale: Dessert
Third: Elathain
Second: Zondara Rivenheart
First: Tokkor the Immolator
What CAN’T Tokkor do is the real question?
BONUS: Overall High Scores
Fifth: Zarbag
Fourth: Zondara Rivenheart
Third: Elathain
Second: Phlegmus Potbelly
First: Tokkor the Immolator
Grand Alliance Rankings:
Fourth (and Last): Destruction
Third: Death (despite The Royal butcher’s Dismal score)
Second: Order
First: Chaos
Wrap

That’s it for this competition! Chaos took it home easily, with Tokkor himself proving the master of all heating methods.
