Here are my classifications of warband composition archetypes, which will help you evaluate which cards are best when you are choosing from Rivals Decks and when building Nemesis decks:
- Elites (3 fighter warbands)
- Big Boys (Warbands with one large fighter and a handful of lesser ones)
- Standard (4-5 fighter warbands with rough equivalence between the models)
- Hordes (6-7 fighter warbands)

Archetype: Mastery (more like Flex)
Composition: Standard
New Player Recommendation: Save For Later
Playstyle: Board position manipulation, can play hold or anti-hold/pillage, ranged damage output
Pros: Remarkably flexible and potent ability in Windblown that provides you with stat benefits, flanks enemies, and disrupts enemy positioning. One of the only warbands with access to 2 damage at range 3.
Cons: Huge mental load with placement of Tzul’s token and maintaining fighters in correct hexes – doing this wrong will leave you easy to kill and less accurate
